Role Overview
We are seeking a UAT Support Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments for system integration testing, user acceptance, and production release stages within the software development lifecycle. The role requires coordination across multiple teams and hands-on technical support to ensure environment stability and readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple testing efforts across several UAT environments.
- Initiate and track data refresh requests with the database administration team.
- Perform application and infrastructure monitoring and health checks.
- Conduct post-production release code deployments to all UAT environments.
- Execute code deployments and job executions as required.
- Manage access requests and oversee requests for UAT infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with Development, DBA, and other technical teams to resolve UAT issues.
- Manage SSL certificate renewals on all UAT servers.
- Handle service ID management, including password resets and compliance attestation.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: Experience with application support in a UAT or Production environment is required. Candidates should have proficiency in application testing, basic Python scripting, and shell scripting. Experience with database technologies such as Sybase or Oracle, and Sailfish or DB2 is necessary. Familiarity with AutoSys is also needed.
