Security Systems Integration Project Manager
Location: Foster City (fully onsite)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Systems Integration Project Manager to design, implement, and manage complex, multi-site physical security solutions for our clients. This is a hybrid technical and leadership role that requires expertise in physical security technology alongside strong project management and client-facing consulting skills. You will be the primary technical authority, responsible for the end-to-end delivery and long-term reliability of integrated security systems.
Key Responsibilities
I. Technical Integration & System Expertise
- Design & Engineering: Design comprehensive physical security architectures, including Access Control Systems (ACS), Video Surveillance (CCTV/VMS), Intrusion Detection, and Alarm Monitoring, ensuring seamless integration onto centralized management platforms.
- Implementation & Configuration: Program, configure, and commission security hardware and software. Perform rigorous system testing to guarantee optimal functionality, reliability, and adherence to design specifications.
- Documentation & Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments, site evaluations, and create detailed, technical design documentation (blueprints, wiring diagrams, configuration matrices).
- Support & Maintenance: Provide expert-level troubleshooting, system resolution, and ongoing maintenance, including training end-users and site teams to ensure long-term system effectiveness.
II. Program Management & Leadership
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of multiple security integration projects simultaneously, managing cross-functional teams, timelines, and budgets.
- Strategic Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies, manage strategic vendor relationships, and ensure all system designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze system performance data, identify opportunities for enhancement, and manage the implementation of necessary system upgrades to continuously optimize security operations.
Travel & Client Engagement
- Essential Travel: Travel as needed is required to engage directly with clients across various cities and geographical locations.
- On-Site Consulting: Conduct critical on-site evaluations to assess infrastructure, environmental factors, and unique client operational requirements to inform and tailor security system designs.
- Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate smooth transitions and continuity of service by engaging with existing security integrators and on-site teams to absorb institutional knowledge and optimize deployed systems.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site projects from conception through completion.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, and database management related to security systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's with 6-8 years of experience in physical security systems integration, installation, and project management.
- Experience with major security platforms (e.g., Genetec, LenelS2, CCURE, Milestone, Kastle, Gallagher, SureView.).
