Summary

Position: Program Director- Senior
Location -Raleigh, NC
Interview: Only Video
Position Type: Contract.
Work Mode: Onsite.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale Tax System Modernization Program within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall program planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery.

  • Manage large-scale IT modernization and transformation initiatives.

  • Coordinate with technology vendors, government agencies, and cross-functional teams.

  • Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and resources.

  • Lead Project Managers and oversee multiple project workstreams.

  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and presentations.

  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and program governance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Program/Project Management experience.

  • Experience managing large-scale IT modernization or transformation programs.

  • Public-sector or government project experience preferred.

  • Strong vendor, stakeholder, budget, and resource management skills.

  • Experience with executive-level reporting and program governance.

  • PMP or PgMP certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, and MS Teams.

Preferred: Experience with government taxation systems or tax administration modernization.
