Enterprise Payment Services (EPS) Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to support Enterprise Payment Services (EPS) platforms, integrations, APIs, and modernization initiatives within a high-transaction enterprise environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain EPS APIs, event-driven workflows, and operational tooling
• Drive complex enhancements across business functionality, data contracts, observability, and system reliability
• Lead production issue resolution, root-cause analysis, release hardening, and technical debt reduction initiatives
• Collaborate across engineering teams to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Mentor junior engineers and establish strong engineering best practices within the EPS ecosystem
🔹 Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend/service development expertise
• Strong programming skills in Java or equivalent backend technologies
• Experience with distributed systems, SQL, cloud-native architectures, APIs, and event-driven systems
• Experience supporting high-volume transactional production environments
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and analytical problem-solving capabilities
🔹 AI / Agentic Engineering Expectations:
• Utilize AI-assisted development and code review tools within defined security and engineering boundaries
• Apply agentic workflows for log analysis, release documentation, and operational insights
• Partner with QE and ESRE teams to automate repetitive operational and validation workflows
