Description Responsible for supporting, documenting, and managing the technical integrations that connect the organization's applications, platforms, and data flows. This role is less focused on traditional business process analysis and more centered on technical requirements, system connectivity, data mapping, API behavior, vendor coordination, and integration lifecycle management. This team member serves as a bridge between business teams, IT engineering, and third-party vendors to ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and aligned with organizational technology goals. Responsibilities include requirements definition, technical documentation, integration monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and change management as related to system interconnectivity.
Requirements Responsibilities:- Collaborate with end users and technical teams to define integration requirements and functional specifications.
- Work closely with project managers to deliver documentation, technical requirements, and integration-related project deliverables.
- Analyze current system interactions, data flows, and integration points, and recommend improvements that align with organizational goals.
- Understand system architecture, data structures, and operational workflows to support effective planning and decision-making.
- Document current and future integration processes, data mappings, and procedures to support development, training, and operational readiness.
- Develop and support test plans for integrations, including system testing, data validation, and User Acceptance Testing; serve as the IT owner for UAT related to integrations.
- Create reports, technical diagrams, and presentations to support integration design decisions and technology recommendations.
- Support estimation of integration work by identifying required tasks, resources, timelines, and potential risks.
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure data accuracy, system stability, and efficient operations.
- Recommend solutions or improvements using new technologies or enhanced integration methods.
- Provide guidance that impacts cost, efficiency, compliance, service quality, and integration reliability.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of business analysis or related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
Abilities:- Technical acumen, knowledge of various integration methods, API, batch/SFTP, etc.
- Solution-oriented with executive presence
- Prioritize and organize effectively
- Work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
- Handle multiple projects and priorities
- Analyze and interpret data
- Quickly identify technical solutions and integration data points
- Communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
