OverviewWe are seeking a Telecommunications Support Specialist to support and administer enterprise telephony systems. This role focuses on VoIP phone systems, contact center applications, and day-to-day telecom support, while working closely with internal IT teams and end users.
This position sits onsite in La Crosse, WI.
Responsibilities: - Administer and support enterprise telephony environments, including VoIP PBX systems, contact center platforms, voicemail, call routing, tie lines, analog lines, call accounting, and call recording
- Create, modify, and remove end-user phone configurations and assist with phone deployments
- Monitor telephony systems to proactively identify and address potential issues
- Maintain an inventory management system for tracking telecom equipment
- Support telecom-related service request tickets and provide level 1 voice support
- Assist with system upgrades, maintenance, and preparation alongside other team members
- Create and maintain telecom documentation for operational and planning purposes
- Assist with user training and develop end-user training materials related to telecom tools and systems
Required Qualifications- 1+ year of experience working in IT, or a completed 2-year degree in IT or telecommunications
- General knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Basic working knowledge of VoIP PBX and call center systems
- Experience supporting telephone systems, voicemail, contact center tools, and call recording software
- Ability to provide organized, timely level 1 technical support with minimal supervision
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of La Crosse, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
