Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Kennesaw, GA or Richmond, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is for an experienced Technical Business Analyst who will act as the primary interface between business partners, stakeholders, and cross-organizational technology teams. The Analyst will be part of an Agile Scrum team, responsible for analyzing current processes, eliciting requirements, and translating them into JIRA Epics and Stories for the development team.
Responsibilities: - Act as the communication hub between technical teams and business partners/product owners
- Analyze current processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology
- Elicit, gather, and document requirements, use cases, process models, and acceptance criteria into JIRA
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate features and write effective user stories
- Work closely with the Development Team to refine, estimate, and clarify story requirements
- Support the testing team to ensure test plans and scripts satisfy requirements
Requirements: - 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on technology projects
- 7+ years of practical Agile experience
- Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements in JIRA
- Experience working closely with a Product Owner to define business needs and convert them into epics and stories
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and conduct presentations
- Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficient with the MS Office suite, including Visio
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Desired skills: - Experience with SQL and other data tools
- Familiarity with internal enterprise toolsets
- Experience with Enterprise Change Management processes
Pay range: $43.56 - $51.56 per hour
