About the Role

We're seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise data management initiatives focused on data quality, lineage, and business alignment. In this role, you will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, well-understood, and fit for decision-making.

This position emphasizes analyzing, validating, and improving data across systems rather than building infrastructure.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document data requirements
  • Analyze complex datasets from multiple systems to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
  • Perform data profiling and data quality assessments across cross-functional sources
  • Define and document data mappings and end-to-end data lineage
  • Capture and maintain business and technical metadata
  • Develop and execute data quality rules, and perform root cause analysis of data issues
  • Provide recommendations to improve data reliability and usability
  • Communicate project status, risks, and insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to support data governance and compliance efforts
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data integration, analytics, or modeling
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with:
    • SQL
    • Data profiling and data quality assessment
    • Data mapping and lineage documentation
  • Experience working with one or more of:
    • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) / BigQuery (required)
    • Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata
  • Proven ability to analyze and validate data across complex systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
  • Experience supporting data migration initiatives (e.g., Teradata to Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of customer survey or lending datasets
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business context
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
