Key Responsibilities:
BOM Ownership & Governance:
- Develop and maintain EBOM → MBOM transformation aligned with product structure for ladder frame assemblies
- Ensure accuracy of part numbers, revisions, and effectivity across PLM/ERP systems
- Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECO) and ensure timely BOM updates
- Validate supplier content and raw material specifications
BOP / Manufacturing Process Development:
- Create and maintain detailed Bill of Process (BOP) for ladder frame manufacturing
- Define process sequence, takt time, and station-level operations
- Ensure alignment between BOP, plant layout, and material flow
Cross-Functional Integration:
- Interface with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
- Support JV alignment and global standardization
- Drive consistency across prototype and production phases
Change Management & Launch Support:
- Lead BOM/BOP readiness for prototype builds and SOP
- Ensure engineering changes are reflected in manufacturing processes
- Support build events and resolve discrepancies
Digital Systems & Data Integrity:
- Maintain synchronization between BOM, BOP, and shop-floor execution
- Support digital traceability and system integration
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Improve line balance, material flow, and cost efficiency
- Drive value engineering and standardization initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5–10+ years automotive manufacturing experience
- Strong experience in welding, stamping, BOM/BOP
Technical Skills:
- PLM/ERP systems (Teamcenter, SAP)
- Manufacturing process planning
- CAD interpretation
