Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and new product development
Experience within medical device or highly regulated product development environments
Strong experience with PCB design, analog/digital circuit design, and electronic system architecture
Experience with schematic capture and PCB development tools such as Altium
Experience troubleshooting PCBs and electrical subsystems
Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware/software integration
Experience with electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, LCR meters, and power supplies
Knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
Experience leading design reviews, troubleshooting efforts, and engineering collaboration
Strong communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with FPGA and/or CPLD technologies
Experience with power conversion circuits and sensor integration
Knowledge of RF energy generation and control systems
Familiarity with IEC 60601 medical device safety and EMC standards
Experience supporting design verification and validation activities
Knowledge of root cause analysis and failure analysis methodologies
Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams
Clinical or technical experience within surgical or gynecological medical devices preferred
Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration between hardware and embedded software teams
