  • Interpret product requirements to develop functional specifications and system requirements.
  • Author specifications documentation to component suppliers.
  • Participate in wire harness design reviews to ensure hardware compatibility with system design and layout.
  • Create and update documentation including design detail, DFMEA, DVP&R, test plans, test/calibration procedures, product manuals and other technical documents.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software components of controllers and other electronic devices related to OEM forklifts
  • Participate in technical discussions with suppliers (Internal/external) on issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, cost, quality and delivery of new products.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of post-graduate Electrical Systems Engineering experience
  • Good knowledge of electronics design, including PCB and circuit design
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as C and C++
  • Understanding of serial communication, vehicle dynamics, controller hardware and software
  • Skilled with DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies and other similar diagnostic equipment
  • Strong understanding of low voltage analog, digital, high speed, and RF circuits
  • Strong understanding of common control system topologies and technologies, which also expands to motor drives and various types of motors
  • 2+ years experience in circuit design in low or medium voltage applications
  • 2+ years experience in supporting a product through the entire lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to work with team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and multi-tasker.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and works effectively with cross-cultural teams.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a customer-centric manner.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of working autonomously with proper guidance and training.
  • Must be flexible and willing to learn new skills.
  • Committed to working in an alert and safe manner and with engineering rigor while always upholding Toyota's Core Values.
  • Is committed to strong technical documentation.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Proficient in system integration interface tools (CANalyzer, CANape, CANbus etc).

Where and When You'll Work:
  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule-collaborate in person at our Greene, NY office and work remotely (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
