About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact Treasury, Payments, Wires, and Banking Technology initiatives within a complex financial services environment.

In this role, you'll drive large-scale business and technology transformation programs from planning through implementation, partnering with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, and executive leadership. You'll be responsible for bringing structure, governance, and momentum to critical initiatives while ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong project delivery expertise with deep banking and payments domain knowledge and can confidently navigate complex programs involving system integrations, regulatory requirements, vendor management, and enterprise modernization efforts.

What You'll Do

Project & Program Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Treasury, Payments, Wires, and Banking Operations initiatives.
  • Take ownership of projects already in flight and rapidly assess scope, risks, dependencies, milestones, and critical path activities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, implementation roadmaps, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Drive execution across business and technology teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Treasury & Payments Transformation

Support initiatives involving:
  • Treasury Management
  • Commercial Banking
  • Domestic & International Wires
  • Payment Processing
  • Fee Income Programs
  • Banking Operations
  • Financial Services Technology Platforms
  • Enterprise Modernization Programs

Stakeholder & Governance Management
  • Partner with Product, Operations, Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, QA, and executive stakeholders.
  • Establish project governance and delivery controls.
  • Facilitate steering committees, executive reviews, and governance meetings.
  • Drive decision-making and accountability across internal and external teams.

Risk & Delivery Management
  • Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, production readiness, cutover, deployment, and stabilization activities.
  • Ensure successful execution across distributed delivery teams.

Vendor & Financial Management
  • Manage external technology vendors and implementation partners.
  • Track project budgets, resource plans, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Monitor contractual commitments, timelines, and deliverables.


Minimum Qualifications

Experience
  • 7-10+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Background in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or highly regulated industries.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale technology and business transformation initiatives.
