Volt is immediately hiring a Project Manager in Fremont, CA.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Analyze and optimize processes to ensure quality products are delivered on schedule at a minimum cost. Provide project/team leadership with a systems integration view and the vision to establish an efficient, economical, and scalable infrastructure.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Manage and establish relationship with the client and third parties/vendors
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
- Detailed knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience interfacing with operations, mechanical and manufacturing process
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:10pm PST.
Pay rate: $38.00/hr. - $45.00/hr.
