Ensure high availability and reliability of operation of Aruba NAC services.
Provide user and device access support through authentication and authorization policies.
Deliver efficient issue resolution via Level 1 and Level 2 support tiers.
Assist in maintaining secure onboarding for employees, guests, IoT, and headless devices.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for advanced issue resolution (Tier 3 escalation).

Aruba NAC Policy Manager (virtual or hardware appliances)
NAC Guest, Onboard, OnGuard modules
Aruba Mobility Controllers and Access Points (for context integration)
Wired switches (Aruba, Cisco, or other 802.1X-capable)
External Identity Sources (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, etc.)
Endpoint profiling, posture assessments, and enforcement policies
Roles & Responsibilities

Provide front-line support for basic issues and user requests.
Monitor NAC system availability (via dashboards or SNMP traps)
Respond to service tickets related to:
o Authentication failures
o Guest portal access issues
o Basic onboarding problems
o Posture check failures
Create and follow documented SOPs to:
o Unlock user MAC addresses
o Reset endpoint attributes (e.g., posture states, roles)
o Review of the health status of NAC nodes
o Notify Level 2-3 team of persistent or complex issues
o Troubleshoot RADIUS authentication failures using Access Tracker and Event Viewer
o Review logs and logs for posture, profiling, and authorization issues
o Modify enforcement and role mapping policies (under change control)
o Manage MAC Caching, Static Host Lists, and Endpoint database
o Perform system health checks and apply minor configuration changes
o Assist in integration troubleshooting with external sources (AD, MDM, Cert Authorities)
o Coordinate upgrades and patching under guidance from Tier 3vendor
o Maintain documentation of policies, certificates, and integrations
o Create problem records and knowledge base articles for recurring issues
