Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead large-scale Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Integration, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives. This role will oversee multiple cross-functional projects, manage enterprise reporting programs, coordinate Agile and Waterfall delivery teams, and serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience managing enterprise data and analytics programs, business intelligence initiatives, reporting environments, and large-scale technology transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Lead enterprise-wide data, analytics, and reporting programs.

  • Develop and manage long-term program roadmaps, budgets, and operating plans.

  • Translate business objectives into actionable program strategies and implementation plans.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams across business and technology teams.

  • Ensure alignment between organizational goals, project deliverables, and strategic initiatives.


Project & Program Management

  • Lead hybrid Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

  • Create and manage sprint cycles, epics, user stories, project plans, schedules, and project artifacts.

  • Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and executive status reviews.

  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure timely delivery of program milestones and objectives.


Agile Leadership & SAFe Coordination

  • Lead Scrum of Scrums ceremonies across multiple Agile teams.

  • Apply Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles to coordinate cross-team delivery efforts.

  • Support release planning, sprint planning, backlog management, and prioritization activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery teams.


Data Analytics & Reporting Oversight

  • Oversee enterprise analytics, reporting, and data integration initiatives.

  • Ensure teams properly extract, integrate, analyze, and govern data from multiple sources.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to validate reporting requirements.

  • Support development of dashboards, visualizations, executive reports, and performance metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with reporting standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements.


AI & Data Innovation

  • Lead AI-enabled reporting and analytics initiatives.

  • Develop governance frameworks for AI-assisted reporting and decision support.

  • Support development of AI prompt libraries and reusable reporting templates.

  • Validate AI-generated outputs and establish controls to mitigate inaccuracies or hallucinations.

  • Promote responsible AI adoption across the organization.


Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business units, and technical teams.

  • Communicate complex technical initiatives in clear, business-friendly language.

  • Present program status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

  • Manage relationships across multiple departments and organizational levels.


Data Literacy & Organizational Enablement

  • Promote data literacy and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Lead initiatives that improve adoption of analytics, reporting, and AI tools.

  • Support development of training programs for technical and non-technical users.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.


Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance and data quality standards.

  • Support compliance reporting and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage project documentation, approvals, and governance processes.

  • Oversee funding documentation, business cases, and strategic planning deliverables.


Required Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience translating complex analytics projects and business requirements into executable program plans.

  • 8+ years of experience communicating complex technical initiatives to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

  • 8+ years of experience managing large-scale data, analytics, reporting, or technology programs.

  • 8+ years of experience collaborating with business leaders, analysts, and technical teams.

  • 8+ years of experience creating executive reports, presentations, and program communications.

  • 8+ years of experience with presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint and Visio.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading Agile and Waterfall project delivery initiatives.

  • 5+ years of experience managing Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse programs.

  • 5+ years serving as the primary contact for enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.

  • 5+ years of experience working in healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.

  • 5+ years of experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.

  • 5+ years of experience facilitating Scrum of Scrums and applying SAFe principles.

  • 5+ years of experience overseeing enterprise data integration and analytics programs.

  • Experience leading performance management and analytics initiatives.

  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting and compliance programs.

  • Experience developing business cases, funding requests, and strategic planning documents.

  • Experience implementing Responsible AI governance and compliance practices.
