Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Platform Governance and Enablement Lead, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Governance Strategy and Ownership
Define and evolve the enterprise governance framework for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot agents
Establish standards, policies, and guardrails that balance speed, security, and scalability
Act as the single point of accountability for platform governance decisions and exceptions
Hands?On Platform Implementation
Configure and manage environments, DLP policies, connectors, and security boundaries
Implement governance controls directly within Power Platform and Copilot tooling
Build and maintain starter kits, templates, solution patterns, and ALM practices
Implement intake workflows, approval processes, and governance automation using the platform itself
Copilot and Agent Governance
Govern creation, deployment, and lifecycle of Copilot agents (including custom agents)
Define and implement standards for agent behavior, data access, prompts, and ownership
Prevent agent sprawl, unmanaged experiences, and data exposure through both policy and technical controls
Lifecycle and Risk Management
Design and operate solution lifecycle processes (intake ? build ? operate ? retire)
Identify, assess, and remediate orphaned, unused, or high?risk apps, flows, and agents
Ensure clear business ownership, supportability, and documentation standards are enforced
Enablement and Partnership
Translate governance requirements into practical, usable guidance for makers and delivery teams
Partner with platform engineering, security, and adoption teams to embed governance into training and onboarding
Act as a trusted advisor-helping teams design compliant solutions from day one
Metrics and Continuous Improvement
Implement dashboards and reporting to track governance health and adoption
Monitor platform usage, risk trends, and policy effectiveness
Continuously refine governance based on platform evolution and real?world usage
Qualifications:
Strong hands?on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) concepts or tooling
Experience supporting citizen developer programs at scale
Experience implementing governance controls-not just defining them
Solid understanding of security, compliance, and risk management in enterprise environments
Experience configuring DLP policies, environments, connectors, and ALM practices
Ability to influence across IT, Security, and business teams without direct authority
Strong communication skills with a builder's mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building or governing Copilot agents or AI assistants
Background in regulated or security?sensitive environments
The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $155,000 or the hourly equivalent.
