Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce consultant with experience in implementing fundraising and grant management solutions for nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, including fundraising, grant management, data cloud, and marketing solutions. This role involves working closely with nonprofit clients to analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement Salesforce-based applications to optimize donor engagement, fundraising strategies, and grant lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Implementation & Customization:
Design, configure, and implement Salesforce nonprofit cloud solutions for fundraising and grant management.
Customize objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation using Flow, Apex, and Lightning Components as needed.
Configure and optimize Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Nonprofit Cloud Fundraising, and Grants Management modules to support donor management, funding applications, and grant disbursements.
Integrate Salesforce with third-party fundraising platforms, marketing automation tools, and accounting systems for end-to-end nonprofit operations.
Fundraising & Grants Management Expertise:
Implement donor lifecycle management, recurring donations, major gift tracking, and capital campaign tracking within Salesforce.
Develop and optimize fundraising reports and dashboards to measure donation trends and donor engagement.
Configure and manage grant lifecycle processes, including grant application intake, approval workflows, fund disbursement tracking, and compliance reporting.
Ensure proper GAU Allocations (General Accounting Units) for tracking restricted and unrestricted funds.
Marketing & Engagement:
Implement and configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot for nonprofit campaigns, donor segmentation, and engagement strategies.
Design and execute automated donor engagement journeys using email, SMS, and social media marketing.
Leverage Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform, CDP) for donor insights, segmentation, and personalized engagement.
Data Management & Analytics:
Oversee data migration, cleansing, and deduplication for donor and grant records.
Implement data governance best practices for donor and funding data integrity.
Develop custom reports and dashboards to track fundraising performance, grant allocations, and donor retention.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with nonprofit teams to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure successful adoption of Salesforce.
Conduct training sessions for fundraising, grants, and marketing teams on best practices in Salesforce usage.
Document configurations, workflows, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, with a strong focus on nonprofit organizations.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Fundraising & Grants Management.
Proficiency in Data Cloud (CDP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Pardot.
Strong understanding of fundraising processes, donor engagement, and grant management lifecycles.
Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware like MuleSoft, Zapier, etc.).
Proficiency in Flow, Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), and Process Automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data modeling and data governance.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with nonprofit stakeholders.
