Position: QA Engineer

Compensation: $45 - 54 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled QA Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on QA professional who enjoys improving software quality through smart testing, automation, and collaboration. You'll be embedded with cross-functional Agile teams, helping deliver reliable software while reducing testing time through better automation and efficient test coverage.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Track defects with clear reproduction steps and resolution support
Support user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
Improve test environments for reliable execution
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive testing effort

Required Qualifications & Experience:

3-5 years of QA testing and/or development experience
Experience with test automation frameworks
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java
Experience with SQL
API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer
Exposure to New Relic or Dynatrace
Familiarity with Jira, XRay, Azure DevOps, or Zephyr
Knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG and ADA
ISTQB or similar certification
