The Opportunity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Manager, Learning & Capability Building to join our Global Learning & Capability Building team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Global Talent, Functional Learning, Human Resources (HR) Evolution, and HRIT teams to strengthen Hyatt's global learning ecosystem and its impact.

You will play a key role in enhancing how learning is designed, delivered, and measured-ensuring programs align to business goals, skills, and measurable outcomes. This role contributes to building capability across the organization through learning consultation, evaluation practices, and learning technology solutions.

The Role

Design, develop, deliver, and maintain a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) and Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator certification programs to build capability across learning teams.

Manage day-to-day learning technology vendor relationships and LMS/Learning Experience Platform (LXP) administration in partnership with HRIT, ensuring systems support learning delivery and reporting needs.

Support learning intake and consultation by partnering with stakeholders to assess needs, recommend solutions, and align requests to business goals, skills, and measurable outcomes.

Support the maintenance and application of global learning design standards across blended modalities (e.g., digital, virtual, in-person), ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment to Hyatt's experience and measurement expectations.

Execute and maintain learning evaluation and effectiveness practices, applying frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick, ROI) and supporting consistent measurement across programs.

Analyze learning and performance data to generate insights, dashboards, and recommendations, partnering with Global Talent, Functional Learning, and data & analytics teams.

Monitor learning trends and performance data to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Maintain tools, templates, and documentation that support consistent evaluation and reporting practices.

Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance Hyatt's learning ecosystem and colleague experience.

Qualifications:
Experience Required:

5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, learning analytics, or related field

Experience conducting learning needs analysis and stakeholder consultation

Experience applying learning design or instructional design principles (e.g., adult learning theory)

Experience managing vendors or external partners

Experience working with LMS/LXP platforms and learning technologies

Experience managing or supporting learning programs or projects end-to-end

Experience collaborating across global, cross-functional teams

Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

Experience designing skills frameworks or competency models

Proficiency in the following learning platforms: Oracle, Percipio, Articulate 360, Colossyan, Synthesia, Camtasia, or similar

Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their application in learning design, content development, or productivity

Experience working in Agile or iterative project environments
