Lead System Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

• The Lead System Analyst will lead system analysis initiatives, backend solution design, and integration efforts across complex technology environments.
• The role requires strong leadership, technical analysis, and collaboration skills to support cloud-based systems, integrations, data flows, and enterprise application enhancements within the banking and financial services domain.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience in System Analysis with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and driving solution architecture discussions.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with data feeds and event-driven architectures.
• Strong database knowledge, preferably Oracle.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience with backend solution design and enterprise integrations.
• Strong documentation and user story writing skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Mandatory experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.

Experience:

• Experience leading system analysis and technical delivery initiatives.
• Experience analyzing upstream and downstream system dependencies and changes.
• Experience working with cloud-based and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and supporting APIs, integrations, and backend solutions.
• Experience working in agile environments creating user stories and technical documentation.
• Payments domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of system analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive technical discussions, solution design, and architecture decisions across initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to assess impacts of new or modified data feeds, integrations, and application enhancements.
• Analyze upstream and downstream system changes and define backend solution adjustments.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories and documentation.
• Develop a strong understanding of system dependencies, integration patterns, and data flows.
• Evaluate multiple solution options and guide teams toward optimal technical solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Support backend integration strategies and enterprise application modernization efforts.

Should Have:

• Exposure to Payments domain.
• Experience with event-driven systems and messaging platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale banking technology solutions.
