Summary

We are looking for a Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role supports a SaaS-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and works across technical and functional teams to ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and successful integrations.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT teams, financial/business units, and external vendors to support ERP system implementation and operations.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements in collaboration with technical and functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze and validate system functionality, data flows, and interface outputs across integrated platforms.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and interface failures; coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support and validate integrations including APIs, batch processes, file transfers (SFTP/PGP), and ETL processes.
  • Maintain and update system documentation, including interface specifications, data mappings, and technical artifacts.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios; support regression testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Track defects, issues, and enhancements through resolution using standard tools and processes.
  • Validate financial data and reporting outputs to ensure reconciliation and consistency across legacy and SaaS systems.
  • Support reporting activities using BI tools and native reporting capabilities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support system enhancements, defect resolution, and operational stability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
  • Provide production support, including participation in on-call rotation for financial system processing cycles and critical operations.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance standards, and access control procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise financial systems (ERP or equivalent) in a production or test environment.
  • 5+ years working in SaaS-based application environments, with understanding of configuration vs. customization.
  • 4+ years gathering requirements, stakeholder communication, and project coordination.
  • 4+ years creating or maintaining technical documentation, user guides, or system support documentation.
  • 4+ years of exposure to ERP or enterprise application implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • 2+ years supporting system integrations (APIs, batch processing, file transfers, data exchanges).
  • 2+ years using reporting tools or dashboards for business or operational support.
  • 2+ years of exposure to middleware or integration platforms.
  • 2+ years working with job scheduling/monitoring tools.
  • 1+ year working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
  • 1+ year of analytical and troubleshooting experience across integrated systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting SaaS solutions, including financial modules, security roles, or administration tools.
  • 3+ years of exposure to core financial functions: General Accounting, Budget Control, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Management, or similar areas.
  • 2+ years supporting government or large enterprise financial systems.
  • 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 2+ years using ticketing and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • 2+ years of knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar).
  • 1+ year designing or supporting BI dashboards.
  • 1+ year of exposure to SaaS testing tools for regression and UAT support.
  • 1+ year working with legacy financial systems.
