Senior Data Governance Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Engineer with strong, handson experience implementing and operating Microsoft Purview in largescale enterprise data environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data governance, along with experience across Azure and AWS data services and proficiency in Python. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to establish and enforce data governance standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise data governance solutions using Microsoft Purview
• Configure and manage Purview components, including collections, scanners, classifications, glossary, metadata catalog, and lineage
• Integrate Purview with Azure and AWS data platforms to enable endtoend data discovery and governance
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, security, and business teams to define governance standards and policies
• Develop automation and governance workflows using Python
• Ensure data quality, compliance, metadata management, and lineage visibility across enterprise data assets
• Communicate governance concepts and implementation details clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
