Contract Tester IT Tester QA/QC - Contract - Remote - $60.00 - $65.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Contract Tester IT Tester QA/QC in for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

The contractor will be Fully Remote; however, the candidate must: 1) be local to the Vienna area, and 2) present themselves for an in-person interview with a skills assessment
Extensive experience working on Agile teams utilizing the Scrum framework
Experience managing testing tasks in ticket systems such as ServiceNow or Jira, estimating task Level of Effort and committing to delivery dates that align with task SLAs
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams in agile project settings, understanding business requirements, and aligning test case development with documented requirements captured in both traditional documents and Azure ADO PBIs.
Experience using Azure Test Plans to manage Test Planning, Test Case creation, test execution, test results, and defect management
Experience with all formal Test Types including but not limited to Systems Integration Testing (SIT), Regression, Negative, and Boundary Testing.
Experience with SQL for evaluating test related data
Experience with XPath, HTML, and CSS to evaluate web application elements while performing failure analysis
Experience developing and maintaining reusable components, functions, methods, and libraries to reduce maintenance and increase efficiency and scalability
Knowledge of and adherence to change control standards and procedures
Experience Level (1-5 yrs, 5-10 yrs, 10+ yrs): 5-10 yrs

Skills & Requirements

Experience with Copilot, M365 Copilot, or Copilot Studio to develop Copilot prompts and M365 and/or Copilot Studio Test Agents
ISTQB/ASTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
Experience with Azure Repos, Git, Bitbucket or other software repositories.
Experience with Postman and experience in API testing
Experience with continuous testing to support CICD pipelines with tools such as Azure Pipelines or Jenkins
