Position Description and Job Skill Set:
Maintain and support Oracle Primavera Unifier Version: 26.6 and higher; making changes to existing business processes, data views, user defined reports, BI custom prints, etc. Ability to identify configuration defects and make the necessary corrections and to assist application administrators with first level user support. Also responsible for maintaining existing ASP code for the reservations portal and the DFA Bureau of Buildings (BOB) project listing web pages.
This engagement will have two primary objectives. First, to support existing staff with the administration and maintenance of Oracle Primavera Unifier and support the DFA business owners within the Bureau of Building, Grounds, and Real Property Management. Secondary but of equal importance, the creation of a new web application for DFA s existing reservation system currently integrated with Primavera Unifier.
Thorough knowledge of Oracle Primavera Unifier, .NET Framework 4.0.0, ASP.NET (VB.NET), .NET Core 8 through 10, Windows Server versions 2025, 2022, 2019, and 2016, IIS, Microsoft SQL required. Drupal 10 and 11 CMS knowledge would be a plus, as ultimately Reservations will be accessed via the DFA website. The person selected will be expected to upgrade the existing Reservation code from .Net Core 8 to 10. This will be a collaborative process requiring working closely with existing staff and other contractors, so communication, cross training, and flexibility in priorities and working with deadlines are required.
Required Skills/Experience:
- To be considered, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- A four-year degree from an accredited school in Computer Science, Information Technology, or like field.
- Seven (7) years or more of direct experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier (Version: 26 experience is required)
- Seven (7) years or more of direct and specific experience creating applications in multiple programming languages
- Five (5) years or more of direct database design and administration.
- Five (5) years or more of experience with application and database security, privacy, and compliance decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of Visual Studio to include the use of Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7.2
- Advanced knowledge of VB.NET, .NET Framework, .NET CORE programming
- Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), and SQL database
- Proficient with IIS configuration
- Proficient with Windows Server versions 2016 through 2025
- Advanced knowledge of C#
- Documentation and knowledge transfer experience.
- Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skills.
Preferred/Not Required:
- Drupal Content Management System versions 10 and 11, and web application development and the ability to publish web applications via Visual Studio to IIS.
