Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA - Remote

Job Summary

The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery for enterprise initiatives, including software development, cloud migrations (e.g., AWS), and healthcare system integrations. This fully remote role requires strong leadership to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Report to the Director of Program Management and collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closure of projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Manage project teams (10-20 members), including developers, analysts, and vendors, fostering collaboration via tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Confluence.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports; track KPIs such as scope creep, velocity, and ROI.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications, including executive updates, requirement gathering, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and security standards; mitigate risks in healthcare IT projects.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, process optimization, and vendor performance reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or related field; PMP, CSM, or PgMP certification preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in enterprise technology, healthcare IT, or software development.
• Proven track record managing remote/distributed teams and $1M+ budgets.
• Expertise in project tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet) and methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
