Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead large-scale cloud migration and data center exit initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This individual will drive planning, execution, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent Agile delivery teams supporting AWS cloud migration efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record managing infrastructure, application migration, or enterprise transformation projects, with the ability to coordinate geographically distributed teams, maintain execution rigor, and ensure successful delivery of critical business objectives.

This role is focused on delivery leadership rather than hands-on technical engineering. Success in this position requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, responsiveness, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead planning and execution of cloud migration and data center exit projects across multiple business applications and workstreams.

Manage Agile execution teams responsible for migrating workloads from on-premises data centers to AWS through iterative sprint-based delivery cycles.

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, dependencies, milestones, risks, and status reporting.

Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, teams, and geographic regions to ensure alignment and delivery success.

Facilitate project governance, communication, issue resolution, and executive-level reporting.

Track project progress, manage risks and impediments, and drive corrective actions when necessary.

Partner with business, infrastructure, application, and leadership teams to ensure successful workload migration and cutover activities.

Establish execution rigor and cadence through effective planning, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Core Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of project management experience, with 5+ years preferred.

Experience leading large-scale infrastructure, cloud migration, application deployment, or enterprise technology initiatives.

Proven experience managing multiple parallel project workstreams in Agile environments.

Strong experience creating and managing integrated project plans across multiple stakeholders and teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and navigate competing priorities.

Experience driving project execution, schedule management, risk mitigation, tracking, and status reporting.

Strong communication, organization, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience coordinating geographically distributed teams across multiple regions.

Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced, highly visible enterprise environments.

Familiarity with AWS cloud migration initiatives and data center exit programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP certification.

Experience supporting large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.

Experience leading infrastructure modernization or application migration projects.

Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.

Experience managing workload migrations executed through sprint-based delivery models.

Ability to establish strong governance, execution discipline, and delivery cadence across multiple teams.

Experience working within enterprise environments undergoing technology transformation.

Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
