Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced SAP TDP Senior Architect to support the Excise Tax ETDP project implementation. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience delivering large-scale, global SAP TDP implementations and will play a key role in defining target architecture, leading design workshops, and engaging strategically with stakeholders across regions.
The customer is implementing an Excise Tax solution using SAP TDP for Europe and APAC, including extended TDP (eTDP) capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an SAP TDP Senior Architect
Hands-on experience delivering large-scale, global SAP TDP implementations
Strong knowledge of Excise Tax processes, preferably in Oil & Gas or IS-OIL environments
Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA IS-OIL-DS-TDP integration
Experience working with Europe and APAC tax regulations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and design for SAP TDP and eTDP solutions in a global implementation
Provide strategic client engagement to define and deliver target architecture
Conduct and lead detailed design workshops with global stakeholders
Support Sprint 0 activities, including analysis of country-specific requirements
Design scalable and compliant excise tax determination solutions for Europe and APAC
Ensure alignment between SAP S/4HANA (IS-OIL-DS-TDP) and TDP/eTDP frameworks
Functional Scope & Requirements
The extended TDP (eTDP) solution will include:
Coverage for XoM-specific gaps, including:
Selection logic
Redetermination logic
Analysis and implementation of country-specific excise tax requirements, impacting:
Configuration table structures
Determination logic processing
Definition and design of tables to support XoM-specific selection parameters for:
Accurate scenario identification
Correct TDP parameter determination for the SAP S/4 IS-OIL-DS-TDP engine
Implementation of process logging to ensure:
Auditability at the native SAP S/4 document level
Controlled management of eTDP master data and configuration
