Senior Full Stack Java Developer
Hybrid in the Following Locations: New York/Boston/Jersey/Tampa/Dallas

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. This role requires strong expertise in backend development, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies, with the ability to contribute across the full stack. You will collaborate with business analysts, infrastructure teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for critical enterprise applications.
• Partner with Business Systems Analysts to ensure technical designs meet functional requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to identify, deploy, and optimize hosting environments.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services.
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Research, evaluate, and implement technology solutions aligned with organizational standards.
• Contribute to application architecture, component design, development, and functional testing.
• Support development, QA, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Promote and enhance engineering best practices, including CI/CD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Integrate risk management and control processes into daily responsibilities, proactively identifying and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Apply appropriate software development methodologies based on project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong backend engineering expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience building distributed, event-driven, or cloud-native applications.
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular.
• Ability to work across the full technology stack, contributing primarily to backend and messaging-driven solutions while supporting front-end development as needed.
