This Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for critical service offerings within the Productivity Portfolio of products. The key responsibilities will include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, supply chain, and support to ensure financial and customer satisfaction goals are met. This role is responsible for multiple technology projects impacting business units across a large enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for the Microsoft 365 family of products.
- Understand and represent the needs and requirements of a wide variety of customers.
- Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
- Drive new product enhancements and updates through the development process lifecycle.
- Ensure service adoption forecasts are met and perform product demonstrations for customers.
- Understand all aspects of the costs and financial levers that impact the product, proposing a budget to ensure key goals are met.
- Develop and manage the core positioning and messaging for the product across various marketing campaigns.
- Deliver monthly metrics including volumes, savings, and expenses with forecasts.
- Run beta and proof-of-concept programs with early-stage products.
- Identify, document, and monitor client requirements as they relate to the Microsoft 365 products.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of experience as an Information Technology professional, with 7+ years in Product Management. A background working in a technical environment and prior experience in a high-volume production organization are required. Must have a demonstrated history of success defining and launching products.
Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft 365 and SCCM. Proficiency working with large sets of data using Excel and SQL is necessary, along with familiarity with JIRA. Experience with software deployment and software lifecycle processes is also required.
General Skills: A strong understanding of the product management discipline is essential. Candidates must possess exceptional executive presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages to individuals with varying degrees of technical understanding. Excellent influencing, problem resolution, and teamwork skills are required, as is the proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution.
- A Product Management Certification.
- Knowledge and achievement in Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM).
