Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced technical resource for a subject matter expert role providing 2nd level support for M365 collaboration products. This position involves troubleshooting multiple products, documenting findings, and providing training. The role is customer-facing, requiring interaction with various users, including executive support, and engineering teams. Responsibilities include managing a ticket queue, directing workload, and participating in on-call rotations for 24x5 shift work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and escalation point for unresolved problems and complex service requests.
- Manage ticket queues, direct team workload, and manage shifts.
- Troubleshoot M365 products, document findings, and provide assistance to the team.
- Administer messaging and collaboration user accounts, including name changes, group list maintenance, and mailbox disabling.
- Provide technical leadership and check the work of less experienced associates.
- Develop and update training materials and process documentation.
- Engage with internal business partners, including executives, through phone, IM, and email to resolve tickets.
- Coordinate with developers and project managers to deploy enterprise solutions.
- Protect the security of the messaging environment through administration of access controls.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: Strong capability in M365 products, with an emphasis on Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive. Knowledge of operating systems is required.
Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for engaging with internal partners and documenting resolutions. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and apply complex technical principles is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- An Information Technology degree or technology certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Splunk for running queries is beneficial.
Compensation
The anticipated pay range for this position is $56.00 to $60.55 per hour. Please note that the exact compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, skills, and geographic location.
