Role Logistics

Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile delivery, SDLC governance, and financial services domains and a proven ability to translate business strategy into executable technology roadmaps and deliver complex, multi-team initiatives.


Position Summary


The IT Project Manager III directs lower-level managers or team leaders or directly manages a specialty function. The role is accountable for creating and developing technology solutions aligned to business needs and objectives and for overseeing implementation of programs, projects, or processes. The position coordinates translation of business strategy into work programs and processes, partners across functions to develop technology solutions and business cases, and serves as a single point of contact and escalation path between client or business areas and IT for unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests. The manager owns and manages a component of a portfolio of technology-driven initiatives for a single business unit or line of business, typically aligned to a component of a business domain. The role provides technical leadership and acts as a proactive, strategic partner in the development of objectives, solutions, and strategies for groups managed in an IT environment striving to meet current and anticipated business objectives.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead planning and delivery of technology projects and programs within an assigned business domain.

  • Translate business strategy into roadmaps, work programs, and measurable outcomes.

  • Develop business cases, budgets, schedules, and resource plans in partnership with stakeholders.

  • Serve as the single point of contact and escalation for complex issues and service requests.

  • Apply design principles and patterns to guide solution options and trade-offs.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure backlog quality, velocity tracking, and dependency management.

  • Oversee requirements, wireframes, user stories, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, and use cases.

  • Mentor team members and promote SDLC discipline, quality gates, and risk management.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in software design principles and design patterns.

  • Strong background in disciplined SDLC processes and governance.

  • Understanding of financial or banking processes and domain concepts.

  • Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

  • 3-5 years as a business analyst or project manager, with Agile team experience.

  • Ability to collaborate with business and technology partners and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Experience producing BRDs, wireframes, epics and stories, process flows, data mapping, test plans, use cases, and scenarios.

  • Extensive experience operating as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

  • Hands-on with JIRA, Rally, or similar Agile project management tools.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Wiki, and SharePoint tools.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in regulated financial environments.

  • Background with portfolio management, dependency management, and risk mitigation at scale.
