Summary

Location: Boston, MA Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $62.00 USD Hourly Description:
The Salesforce Business Analyst supports the client's mission by analyzing business processes and delivering technology solutions within Salesforce. The role enhances service delivery, streamlines workflows, and improves data-driven decision-making across divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering with stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams
  • Business Process Analysis for transportation services, permitting, customer service, and operations
  • Documentation of user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Agile Collaboration during sprint planning, grooming, and review sessions
  • Salesforce Solutions including custom objects, flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and automations
  • Compliance with state regulations, accessibility standards, security, and data privacy
  • System Enhancements with developers, admins, architects, and vendors
  • User Acceptance Testing strategies, plans, scripts, and facilitation
  • Post-Implementation Support including troubleshooting and adoption assistance
  • Training Materials and SOPs for staff
  • Reporting & Analytics for operational monitoring and executive decision-making
  • Data Quality initiatives and continuous improvement


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years as a Business Analyst (government/public sector preferred)
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience (configuration, reporting, workflows)
  • Strong business process analysis and documentation skills
  • Experience in Agile/hybrid environments
  • Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst)
  • Experience with government systems or transportation services
  • Familiarity with ADO, Jira
  • Knowledge of APIs, middleware, and data governance
  • Accessibility compliance experience
