Mako's client is seeking a highly experienced Senior IFS Cloud Business Analyst / Workflow Improvement Specialist to help optimize and enhance business processes within their existing IFS Cloud ERP environment (currently running ERP 25R1). This individual will serve as a functional subject matter expert across multiple business areas, partnering with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, enhance system utilization, and drive operational efficiencies throughout the organization.

The ideal consultant will possess deep functional knowledge of IFS Cloud, strong business process analysis skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams. This role is focused on maximizing the value of the client's current IFS investment through workflow optimization, process standardization, system enhancements, and user adoption initiatives.

• Serve as a functional subject matter expert for IFS Cloud across multiple business areas and operational functions.
• Conduct business process reviews and workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and define improvement initiatives.
• Perform gap analysis between current business processes and IFS Cloud capabilities.
• Recommend and implement workflow enhancements, system configuration improvements, and process optimization strategies.
• Coordinate business process changes, system enhancements, and functional improvements with internal teams and third-party partners.
• Facilitate conference room pilots, user acceptance testing (UAT), integration testing, and validation activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, business requirements, and functional specifications.
• Support system enhancement initiatives, optimization projects, and post-implementation improvement efforts.
• Provide functional guidance and troubleshooting support to end users and business stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of best practices within IFS Cloud while promoting standardization and operational consistency.
• Collaborate with technical teams to prioritize, test, and validate enhancement requests.
• Participate in all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and support.
• Support related business applications and integrated systems as needed.

• 7+ years of ERP Business Analysis experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of ERP-driven business processes across multiple functional areas.
• Experience conducting workflow analysis, business process reengineering, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to perform gap analysis and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and testing activities.
• Strong documentation skills, including business process maps, requirements documents, and functional specifications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Experience supporting organizations currently operating on IFS Cloud ERP.
• Experience with ERP optimization, continuous improvement, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with integrated business applications such as CRM, FP&A, workflow automation, reporting, or document management platforms.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, field services, project-based organizations, utilities, water, infrastructure, or industrial operations.
• Prior experience serving as an internal IFS functional lead, ERP analyst, or business systems analyst.
• Knowledge of change management and user adoption best practices.
