Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle Administrator Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting our client project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Cloud Finance, with a focus on Record-to-Report (Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting), and a proven ability to deliver L2/L3 post-production support, optimize performance, and strengthen operational runbooks and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle database software and related products to ensure availability and security.


• Monitor and tune database performance, including SQL optimization and resource management.


• Implement and maintain database security controls to protect sensitive data.


• Perform regular backups and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.


• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents, providing support to users and developers.


• Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle Cloud R2R Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting, including incident triage, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.


• Support month-end and quarter-end activities, reconciliations, posting, and close readiness with Finance and IT.


• Troubleshoot FA and Lease transactions and accounting outcomes, including additions, adjustments, retirements, depreciation, lease schedules, remeasurements, and terminations.


• Monitor and support integrations, data loads, and batch jobs (FBDI, APIs, OIC or similar middleware), including error handling and reprocessing.


• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles; support controlled production changes and minor enhancements.


• Support Oracle quarterly update readiness, impact assessment, regression testing coordination, and production validation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Financials/ERP Cloud, including Fixed Assets and/or Lease Accounting.


• Experience in Oracle Cloud Finance with focus on Record-to-Report, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting.


• Hands-on L2/L3 production support experience, including incident triage, RCA, and defect resolution.


• Strong SQL performance tuning, integration monitoring, and batch job support capabilities.


• Clear documentation and stakeholder communication skills suitable for Operate delivery.

Preferred Skills:

• ITIL-based support experience with tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.


• Exposure to OTBI and BI Publisher for validation and reporting support.
