Description:
? Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms
? Oversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availability
? Serve as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues
? Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams, including infrastructure and security-focused functions
? Support ongoing and planned initiatives, including: SD-WAN implementation and optimization Network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, AppDynamics)
security integrations (e.g., Secure Workload, NGFW, identity services)
? Provide vendor coordination and oversight for network-related services and contracts
? Ensure compliance with Agency security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
? Participate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation and approvals
? Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams to support cross-functional initiatives
? Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning to leadership
? Maintain documentation of network architecture, processes, and operational procedures
? Support knowledge transfer and continuity planning for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager.
Mandatory Qualifications:
? Minimum of seven (7) years? experience performing supervisory/management work including providing clear direction to subordinates; promoting teamwork and motivating others to accomplish goals.
? Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions is required.
? Minimum of five (5) years? experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment.
? Experienced with implementation and support of 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment.
