Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth by selling enterprise banking products and solutions to financial institutions. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, managing the sales lifecycle, and expanding Intellect s footprint across banks and financial services clients in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development for Client s banking and financial services products.

  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with banks, credit unions, and financial institutions.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including CXOs, business heads, and IT leaders.

  • Own the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.

  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to create customized solutions aligned with client needs.

  • Develop account strategies and pipelines to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Stay informed about banking industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong focus on selling products to banking or financial services clients.

  • Proven experience selling banking software products, platforms, or enterprise solutions (not purely services).

  • Strong understanding of banking domains such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending, Treasury, or Digital Banking.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling fintech or core banking products.

  • Existing relationships with North American banking clients.

  • Experience working with global or product-based technology organizations.
