Web Developer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, California. In this role, you will manage and enhance communication campaigns for active student outreach, ensuring seamless execution of scheduled sends, automations, and journeys within production environments. This position requires hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong technical background in AMPscript and automation workflows.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring audience segmentation and data extension management.
Review and prepare scheduled communication campaigns for deployment, ensuring quality assurance and readiness.
Configure and manage automations and journeys to support ongoing communication workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with campaign sends or automation processes.
Collaborate with design teams to integrate assets from Figma into campaigns.
Utilize AMPscript to create dynamic content personalization and conditional logic for email templates.
Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to ensure alignment and execution of communication strategies.
Maintain admin-level access across multiple business units to manage workflows effectively.
Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting visibility through platforms like Power BI.
Support integration with proprietary text messaging platforms to enhance communication outreach.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Proven expertise in AMPscript for dynamic content and conditional logic.
Familiarity with Automation Studio workflows and processes.
Experience managing and creating data extensions for audience segmentation.
Ability to work across multiple business units and adapt to active environments quickly.
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving issues in campaigns and automations.
Proficiency in integrating design assets from Figma into communication campaigns.
Exposure to reporting platforms such as Power BI is preferred.
