Senior System Architect

We are looking for an experienced System Architect to take ownership of the full technical landscape supporting our Veeva Commercial Vault CRM environment. This role plays a critical part in shaping the platform s architectural direction, ensuring it meets global operational needs across commercial, medical, and field teams while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and regulatory obligations.

Primary Responsibilities

Platform & Architecture Ownership

• Provide architectural leadership for the Veeva Vault CRM ecosystem, driving the overall technical design and long-term platform strategy.
• Oversee platform configuration, customization, and integration with internal enterprise systems and external technology partners.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Develop architectural frameworks and solution designs that balance native Veeva capabilities with necessary customizations and regionspecific requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable, compliant architectural components.

Technical Direction & Governance

• Serve as the chief technical advisor for CRM-related initiatives, guiding engineering teams and ensuring architectural consistency.
• Validate that all development work adheres to quality standards, security expectations, and regulatory guidelines.

Integration & Data Management

• Define integration patterns and data migration strategies that ensure accuracy, continuity, and highquality data flows across systems.
• Maintain data governance standards throughout implementation and ongoing operations.

Documentation & Standards

• Produce and maintain architectural documentation, including reference models, integration schemas, solution diagrams, and security frameworks.
• Promote best practices that support scalable design, maintainability, and audit readiness.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, validate technical feasibility, and drive delivery.
• Facilitate alignment across teams to support global deployment standards and continuous platform enhancement.

Performance & Reliability

• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and scalability, proactively addressing issues and implementing improvements.
• Conduct rootcause analysis for platform challenges and lead remediation initiatives.

Compliance & Security

• Ensure all solutions uphold applicable data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
• Incorporate compliance considerations into architectural decisions, especially for auditsensitive workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience architecting and delivering Veeva CRM and/or Veeva Vault CRM solutions in multiregion or multiorganization environments.
• Indepth knowledge of Veeva Vault architecture, metadata structures, and integration protocols.
• Handson experience with Java, APIs, and metadatadriven configuration.
• Strong familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to enterprise CRM systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical problemsolving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Flosum, along with Agile delivery practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Veeva CRM or Veeva Vault certifications.
• Experience configuring and supporting multiple Veeva modules across the enterprise.
• Background in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading complex integrations or largescale data migration initiatives.
