Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Whippany, NJ

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and support high-performing teams in delivering quality products. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, removes impediments, and continuously improves processes.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Guide and coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
Remove impediments and ensure smooth workflow for the team
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog
Track and report team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability
Support multiple teams in scaling Agile practices (if applicable)
Ensure transparency and effective communication among stakeholders
Help teams adopt DevOps and CI/CD practices where relevant

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects
Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent certification
Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
