Job Summary The System Architect IV will be responsible for designing and optimizing enterprise data architecture, with a focus on data modeling, integration, and system modernization. This role involves analyzing existing data systems, defining target-state architectures, and leading data migration and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scalable, efficient, and compliant data solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead client engagements and guide teams in analyzing existing systems and data architectures Perform reverse engineering of data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines Profile data and assess current data structures for optimization and integration Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models Define data relationships, flows, and entity structures for efficient database architecture Ensure data integrity, consistency, and normalization across systems Gather and translate business requirements into data modeling solutions Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and architects to design scalable solutions Design and implement data schemas for relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases Optimize database performance, indexing, and query efficiency Support ETL processes for data migration and system integration Ensure adherence to data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements Work with compliance teams to align solutions with applicable regulations Evaluate existing data structures and define target-state data models and business processes Recommend improvements to enhance scalability, performance, and efficiency Present data models, architecture designs, and recommendations to stakeholders Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data architecture, professional services, or related fields 3+ years of experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) 3+ years of experience in SQL and data modeling tools Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and DAX Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience in system architecture and enterprise data integration projects Experience modernizing legacy systems and designing scalable data platforms Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements Experience working in complex enterprise environments Education: Bachelors Degree
