About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this contingent assignment, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to analyze engineering challenges, define technical approaches, and implement high-quality features across the stack. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a solid engineering foundation, and the ability to work within established standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities

• Participate in medium-complexity engineering initiatives, contributing to architecture, development, and testing activities.
• Review, analyze, and troubleshoot technical challenges that require evaluating multiple variables and constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and client teams to deliver high-quality software components and services.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of APIs, microservices, and user interface features.
• Apply engineering best practices, design principles, and testing methodologies to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Support issue resolution and provide technical guidance to ensure successful delivery of engineering commitments.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, education, military service, or training.

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack development experience with:
  • Java, REST APIs, Microservices, React (UI)
  • Generative AI / LLMs (foundational understanding or practical experience)
• Strong grounding in software design principles, architecture patterns, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
