Production Artist

Description

We are looking for a Production Artist to support high-volume creative production for print and direct mail projects. This is a contract position suited for someone who combines strong design execution with precise file preparation and a sharp eye for consistency. The ideal candidate will work across Adobe Creative Cloud tools to prepare accurate, press-ready assets while helping teams move projects from concept to final output efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, and finalize artwork for print and direct mail campaigns with close attention to brand standards and production specifications.
Build and update production files in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, ensuring layouts, images, and typography are accurate and ready for release.
Create press-ready deliverables by checking bleeds, trims, color settings, image resolution, and other print requirements before handoff.
Partner with creative, marketing, and production teams to turn approved concepts into high-quality final assets that meet deadlines.
Manage multiple assignments at once while maintaining organization, version control, and quality across deliverables.
Troubleshoot file issues and make technical adjustments to support smooth output across print production workflows.
Use Adobe Creative Cloud applications to adapt existing designs into new formats, sizes, and versions as project needs evolve.

Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Cloud for production-focused design work.
Hands-on experience preparing files for print production, including knowledge of layout accuracy and output standards.
Background supporting direct mail or other print-based marketing materials in a fast-paced environment.
Strong production skills with the ability to follow detailed specifications and maintain visual consistency.
Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to proofreading, file setup, and final quality checks.
Ability to manage deadlines effectively while handling multiple projects with minimal oversight.
