Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations and procedures.
  • Optimize existing manufacturing applications for performance and reliability.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of new application features.
  • Train end-users on the effective use of manufacturing applications.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing and understanding designs.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role or providing technical support.
  • Understanding of various manufacturing processes such as machining, additive manufacturing, or injection molding.
