Job Description Job Description Summary

  • The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, extracting, transforming, analyzing and reporting high-quality data to derive insights into Surgery's product and manufacturing sites' performance.
  • The Data Analyst will develop and deliver presentations with the intended audience of supporting Surgery and client Interventional Segment key senior leadership and client Executive Leadership.

Job Summary

  • As a Data Analyst at Client., you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across various departments.
  • You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement within our medical device manufacturing and distribution processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including internal databases, external market research, and operational systems.
  • Perform in-depth statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining to uncover key business drivers and identify areas for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Identify data quality issues and work to implement solutions to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Support the evaluation of new technologies and methodologies for data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on data analysis tools and best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling principles.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $68-$72 per hour.
