Data Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to analyze data patterns, identify potential fraudulent activities, and support investigations with actionable insights. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to fraud prevention and detection strategies while working with diverse datasets.

Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential fraudulent activities.
Develop and implement fraud detection models and analytics tools.
Collaborate with fraud investigation teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
Monitor and assess data for suspected fraudulent behavior, ensuring timely identification and reporting.
Create detailed reports and visualizations to support anti-fraud initiatives.
Enhance existing fraud prevention strategies through continuous data analysis.
Conduct regular audits of data systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve fraud detection capabilities.
Maintain and safeguard data integrity throughout all analytical processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in data analysis with a focus on fraud detection or investigation.
Strong knowledge of fraud analytics techniques and anti-fraud strategies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, or R.
Ability to identify patterns and anomalies within complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with teams.
Familiarity with fraud investigation processes and procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
