Position Title: Wireless Network Engineer
Position Duties:
Manage new product introduction and lifecycle management for Wi-Fi projects involving Wi-Fi access points, WLAN controllers, network switches, and network routers. Maintain engineering documentation and support test and operation teams. Solve network anomalies using network troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Use network analysis tools like Wireshark for packet capture and Jira for ticketing. Provide solutions and work closely with Architecture teams. Create technical documentation in the Knowledge Base for training materials, marketing collateral, manuals, and problem-solving guidance. Work closely with senior Network Engineering resources and participate in the implementation and maintenance related to new and ongoing projects. Provide engineering design subject-matter expertise for lab proof-of-concept initiatives. Document, deploy, and validate solutions in a lab environment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multiple technologies. Develop and maintain network documentation in accordance with engineering policies and procedures. Initiate, participate in and follow up on network change management events.
Work may be performed at various, unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an engineer.
Special Skill Requirements: Must have five (5) years of experience in each of the following: lab experience including routing implementation, vendor solution testing, and upgrading lab networks; Windows, MAC OS or Linux; OSI and TCP/IP networking standards; networking operations - TCP, UDP, SNMP, IPv4, VLSM, CIDR, NAT, DHCP, or DNS; Wireshark or GNS3; routing protocols OSPF or BGP; VPN Technologies - IPsec, SSL, Site-to-Site VPN, or Remote Access VPN; deploying and configuring network engineering equipment. Must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following: WLAN or Wi-Fi technologies; authentication protocols LDAP, TACACS+, or Radius; troubleshooting Wi-Fi network equipment.
