About the Role

Seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for enterprise technology initiatives within a banking environment. This role is responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coordinating cross-functional teams, removing delivery impediments, managing sprint execution, and supporting the successful delivery of regulatory reporting and data-focused initiatives while promoting Agile best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective team participation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
  • Remove delivery impediments and address blockers impacting progress.
  • Manage sprint execution, planning, and tracking activities.
  • Support the delivery of regulatory reporting and data-focused initiatives.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Oversee backlog management and dependency management activities.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience.
  • 5+ years of experience within the banking industry.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting data-focused initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Rally.
  • Strong experience in sprint planning, backlog management, and dependency management.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting, finance, risk, or compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of banking regulatory reporting, including FR Y-9C, Call Reports, CCAR, CECL, Basel, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with large-scale banking transformation or conversion programs.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore Agile teams.
