Location: New Albany, OH (Primary) - Additional role available in Tulsa, OK
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (5 days/week)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support compliance, configuration management, and engineering design activities within the Transmission organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system accuracy, operational readiness, and alignment with industry standards. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent documentation ability, and a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles.
Key ResponsibilitiesNERC FAC-008 Compliance- Develop and complete Verifact packages, including full desktop reviews as required.
- Issue packages for field verification and promptly resolve any related rejections.
- Perform preliminary and final QA/QC to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to acceptance criteria.
Configuration Management- Develop and maintain a comprehensive configuration management program to track system changes and as-built Transmission assets.
- Implement and manage document control processes, versioning, and change-management procedures.
- Prioritize and allocate engineering resources to meet urgent operational needs as well as long-term strategic objectives.
- Lead risk assessments and mitigation planning for configuration changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align real-time engineering practices with organizational goals.
- Investigate process deviations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Engineering & Design- Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to support engineering assignments.
- Apply electrical engineering principles and techniques to perform analysis, design, and problem-solving tasks.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program*, and
- Two (2) or more years of related engineering experience.
- Candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Engineering may also qualify for entry at this level.
