Job#: 3025560 Job Description: Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Regional Leadership- Provides regional leadership with a strong international orientation, reporting into the Global Head to ensure cohesive regional-global integration.
- Define and drive the regional technology strategy for pricing, quoting, and RFQ workflow, ensuring alignment to global target architecture and business priorities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Quant, Risk, and global technology leads to shape requirements, influence design decisions, and deliver regional business outcomes.
Delivery & Execution Oversight- Demonstrates strong technical leadership through active participation in hands-on software development, contributing high-quality code to critical pricing and quoting initiatives.
- Ensures architectural decisions and technical standards are grounded in practical engineering expertise, reinforced through direct involvement in solution design and implementation.
- Balances strategic leadership with day-to-day technical execution, providing credible guidance to senior engineers by engaging directly in complex development tasks.
Technical Leadership- Provide hands-on technical guidance where appropriate, including code review standards, architectural patterns, and mentoring of senior engineers.
- Guide design decisions around messaging architectures, dependency injection, domain modelling, and distributed system principles.
Skills & ExperienceTechnical Expertise- Minimum 5 years' hands-on development or technical leadership experience with C# and/or java
- Cross-language proficiency (Typescript, React, Python preferred) enabling effective leadership of multi-technology environments.
- Deep understanding of design patterns, best practices, dependency injection frameworks, and enterprise architecture patterns.
- Strong background in messaging systems, n-tier architecture, and high-performance distributed applications.
Domain Knowledge- Solid understanding of equity derivatives products, pricing workflows, and trade lifecycle processes.
- Proven experience working closely with front-office users, capturing and translating complex trading requirements into scalable technical solutions.
