Role Overview
We are seeking a technical PeopleSoft Developer with a strong understanding of business processes. This role is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Employee Self Service (ESS) portions of tax-related components and W2 reporting projects. The developer will collaborate with the project manager, end-users, and the application development team to design, code, test, and implement new applications that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data and code analysis, create and review technical designs, and develop documentation from functional designs.
- Conduct coding, unit testing, and debugging for various PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Customize COBOL stored procedures.
- Develop using PeopleCode, Application Package, Application Engine, Workflow, Integration Broker, and SQR.
- Create and modify data conversion scripts.
- Develop complex interfaces with legacy and third-party systems.
- Utilize SQL and PS/Query for reviewing, troubleshooting, and validating source system data.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technical/Business discipline is required.
Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules is required. This includes implementation, design, and customization experience for PeopleSoft Tools Upgrades.
Technical Skills:- PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2 PUM 39+ with Fluid Technology) and PeopleSoft Tools (v 8.61+).
- Programming with PeopleCode, Application Package, Application Engine, Workflow, Integration Broker, and SQR.
- Proficiency with SQL and PS/Query.
- Strong knowledge of STAT Tool, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Customizing COBOL stored procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and extensive experience with Oracle Fluid technology.
- Extensive experience using Web Services.
- Experience working with enterprise-wide, large-scale implementations.
- Familiarity with CA Scheduler Tool.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is up to $63.93 per hour.
